9/11

Yesterday was my mom's birthday. I've always felt bad for her having her birthday on 9/11 ever since, well, 9/11/01. It's a really crappy day to have a birthday. She cries a lot, so every year on her birthday, she cries all morning (even though we don't personally know anyone that died). But when you think about it, the whole thing is overrated. It's fucking ridiculous. I heard on the news a few months ago that all of the victims families are getting about $1,000,000. They're set for life. I, on the other hand, get nothing. Sure, a lot of people died and it was sad and all, but it's been 9 years - I think people need to grow up. But I know for a fact that that definitely won't happen until after next year, the 10th anniversary.

  2. Totally agree. It´s ridiculous, everyday millions are murdered or die of starvation, and noone gives a fuck. People sacrifize themselves to rescue other people and their families get a clap on the shoulder "It will be a hard time but be strong". And these people get 1 million? why should they be special?

gonna follow your blog and check daily if you wrote something new, I´m really interested in your opinion on other topics.

  11. Yeah, someone needs to hury up and build something instead of debating what should be built. It has been 9 years and the 9/11 site is still empty.

  12. i'm not one of those super blind patriot types but i think it is a big deal still. it was the 1st attack on US soil in a looooong time. and while i think a mil maybe a little too ridiculous but it does pale in comparison to what they lost. they lost fathers and sons, mothers and daughters. no amount of money will ever replace that.
